Dynamic Blue Eagle Eye – Predator Ridge *Part 2*

We are back in the shop with this beauty, and it is starting to shape up into one very nice custom! We tackled some more behind the scenes stuff this week but we also tackled some of the main event! Enough with the chit chat, lets show you the goods!

Un-boxing the information gauge, this gauge package has some very cool features including speed, trip odo, motor temp, battery voltage and many other cool features!

Installing the heat sensor pick up on the SC Carts Speedster motor. When you are running high performance motors like this it is good to know what it is doing.

We installed the front LED headlight and the horn. Even though all of this will be covered we still like to make it look pretty!

Time to get the body in the booth, then we will give it a final wet sand before it gets 2 coats of sealer.

After the sealer, we laid down this amazing pearl blue base from House of Kolor.

As if the color wasn’t amazing enough on it’s own, but we decided to give it a bit more punch with some blue pearl.

Here is the powdered pearl mixed into the carrier.

Next we laid down the pearl, you won’t notice it to much until it hits the sun, then stand back and put your shades on!

Drying in the booth after 3 coats of clear. This is one sweet color.

After the paint dried we installed the body onto the cart, you can see a bit of sun coming through the shop windows and look how much depth this color has, dark from some angles and light from others…awesome!

Next up we installed the rear basket, rear uprights and a new OEM black Club Car roof. We still have some things to finish up front so the front cowl and front underbody have been left off for now.
