The Vegas Pearl Dream Machine *part 2*

It’s starting to feel a lot like fall around here now that summer has really left us and the temperature is dropping outside! How can you not love the fresh fall air and throwing up the windshield on your cart for a little extra warmth as you take in the season changing? That’s just what we did this weekend, after enjoying a pre-Thanksgiving dinner, we took to the streets of our cabin on Kal Lake to take in the changing colors! {it’s never too early to start enjoying pumpkin flavored everything, is it?!?}

Back in the shop, week 2 of this cart’s build has been a busy one and it is coming along beautifully! This week we have completed the majority of the mechanical/refurbishing end of things — now is the part we love! And, we are on the edge of our seats to see out this elegant cart comes together as we start on the cosmetic touches this week.

Check out how this cart is coming along:

YES IT’S ALIVE!!! The brand new Trojan T-875 batteries and heavy duty battery cables have been installed and you know what that means! Test drive time! We always get funny looks from people driving by when we are cruising with a naked golf cart!

After a successful test drive it was time to start getting this cart together. The first thing to go on is the brand new rear underbody.

Next the front underbody was installed along with the roof uprights.

Everything is coming together nicely and looks great…except for the stock wheels, not so great 🙂

Woohooo! Look what arrived, the upholstery which will soon become amazing custom SC Carts seats. And that circle in the picture is the beautifully classic paint that will finish the body of this cart.

Here is the body in the paint booth after being prepped and is ready for some epoxy sealer.

It’s been a great week of early surprises, first the upholstery, then the paint now the wheels have arrived and they are even nicer in person then in pictures!

Well if all these parts and pieces don’t get you excited we don’t know what will…well maybe one thing…come back next week and see it all come together! It’s going to be awesome and we have some great touches that are going to come together on this cart.

Have you seen part 1 of this custom build?
