The sun is shining and the courses are in full swing in the Okanagan! Don’t think this hot June sun is slowing us down at the SC Carts HQ, things are rockin’ & rollin’ as great as ever … & this awesome custom build is coming along nicely! For this post, this cart just met the cut off with its custom paint drying in the paint booth and next week everything will come together for delivery!
After we left you last week, we added some juice to cart and took it out for a test ride!
This resort cruiser is getting a rear seat kit, so on go the HD springs that will ensure there will be no rubbing!
Next we installed the Trojan’s to give this buggy some serious range!
With the pedals installed we were able to take it out for a test ride, and what a beauty!
After the test ride the rear underbody was installed.
Then into the paint booth with the prepped body. Each of our custom paint jobs gets a 400 grit DA sanding and then a 600 grit wet sand.
Then we lay down the epoxy sealer. This gives us a stable base with good adhesion for the color coat.
Next we laid down 3 coats of blue and 3 coats of clear!
This color pops in the sun…we know this because the customer brought his Bimmer by when it was sunny 🙂
Alright next weeks post will be of the completed cart at it’s new home, you won’t want to miss it! This is going to be one great looking machine!
Have you caught up on the first part of this custom Club Car Precedent golf cart’s build?
