This as been a jam packed week of golf cart awesomeness!!! We are kicking off this week with a two cart build for one good customer. This customer wanted one cart for his wife so she could cruise around their resort property, and he wanted another for him to hit the links with.
You guys are in for a treat with these two super clean builds, lets check this Precedents out!
We start off with the Precedent up on the fabrication table.
Next we took the drums to the lathe and turned them just to give them a nice clean even finish. Then we cleaned, prepped and painted them.
While the drums dried we serviced and inspected the braking system.
After the cart brakes dried we reinstalled them.
We then moved onto the front end of the cart. Since this cart is being used for golf they wanted to keep the lift to a 3″. Which is a great idea for setting you apart on the links but still keeps it functional.
How about these sweet blacked out rims!
Here you can see we are installing the rear lift.
Again with this cart being used for golf we wanted to maintain the plush ride of the Club Car Precedent, so we went with the single leaf in the rear.
A rear view of the Club Car lift kit installed and looking great!
To light up the holes, or at least your way to the watering hole, we installed a light kit.
Now this is starting to look like one cool electric golf buggy!
Here are the seats fresh off the sewing machine. It’s hard to see but we used yellow stitching…that might give you a hint on the color combo of this soon to be awesome golf machine.
Next we moved onto the second Precedent, this one would make the greens keepers a bit more nervous!
Here is the 6″ lift with 23″ tires. This has one mean stance.
This cart got the same brake treatment, but we went with the HD leaf spring in the rear as it will be used to haul people.
Here’s a shot of the beefy rear end!
Again another light package was added to this resort cruising Club Car.
Time to get this beast of the table and on it’s new rubber!
How about these two machines side by each! It’s going to be tough to decide which one will be favorite…lucky for our customer he won’t have to decide.
We will be back next week, and we’ll have added some color by then. Don’t forget to come back!
