SC Carts Double stretch carts *Part 7*

With our new website complete it is time to get back in the shop and back to building some of our cool custom buggies!

We thought it was time to get back to the stretch project, so we lets get right to the good stuff!!!

 

We are back to the first stretch cart, and finishing up the custom stretch roof. Here we are forming our air "intakes"

Here you can see where these pieces are going, they are going to be used to fill in the space that the roof has with the Precedent body.

With the air "intakes" complete we loaded up the roof and sent it off to powder coat.

Next it was time to give this stretch resort cruiser some lighting. We choose a very bright LED light bar.

Then we moved on to the paint for this electric beast. Here you can see we are painting all the under body components.

Next we installed the Precedent rear under body and the rear body. Looking clean!

Perfect timing, the stretch golf cart roof returned from powder coat and we installed the composite aluminum roof panel!

We then installed the front cowl on this electric monster cart!

We then very carefully installed the custom roof.

With the roof installed we turned to the floor mat and the custom formed rocker panels, which we also got powder coated.

Our windscreen material arrived so we got right to making the custom windshield for this Club Car Precedent stretch.

After testing fitting the windscreen several times we installed it to the roof frame.

After testing fitting the windscreen several times we installed it to the roof frame. You can also see we used a special glazing foam to ensure this cart would have absolutely no rattles.

Finally we finished the windshield off with a special trim.

It was a nice bright day so we drove the cart out for a photo, it is looking really awesome.

We installed the rear LED lights, our company decal, and some protective tape on the rocker panels.

Well that was some serious progress this week! We have just a couple things to finish up and then install the custom seats and this seriously cool Club Car Precedent Stretch will be ready to go to someones new home!
