We are back with the stretch projects!!! These carts are super cool, they do take some time to progress as we are designing and building components as we go along.
Check out this weeks progress on the SC Carts Stretch Club Car Precedent Stretch cart.
With our floor supports installed it is time to form the actual stretch floor pan.
After shearing our sheet metal to the correct dimensions, it is time to mark it and take it to the press brake.
Here you can see the panel formed and sitting on the floor supports, you can also see another Precedent stretch in the background.
Here is another complete view of the floor pan. It turned out great!
With the metal floor pan completed we needed to modify the factory stock like Club Car floor pan. Here we are marking it out.
Here is the aftermath, with the stock Precedent floor pan cut in two.
We installed the factory parts back on the stretched frame.
Checkout how good this stretch Precedent is coming together! The pan fits just like factory.
Now it was time to install the steering wheel so we could control this roller!
Here is another shot of this Club Car Precedent stretch. It is looking awesome and coming together great!
It’s been a busy week so this is where we have left off for the time being. Make sure to keep checking back as we complete these stretches.
Check out part 4, and the rest of the build progress on these cool stretch carts.
