SC Carts Off-road resort cruiser

We are finding more and more customers are discovering the versatility of their new carts, so with that we have started in on a  nice off-road cart that can also be used as a resort cruiser.

Many of the resorts our customers live at also have trails and paths which allow atv’s and dirt bikes to access the back country. With the off-road and resort carts it is allowing our customers to cruise around the resort, get down to their boats, go for dinner and also hit the trails and enjoy the back country quietly!

So that is the purpose behind this build. It is a simple cart with just enough goodies to make the cart useful, but doesn’t have a bunch of stuff that isn’t needed.

We then installed some nice 10" beadlock style wheel covers. The reason we decided to go this route as opposed to a custom aluminum rim, is that if our customers end up using this in the back country and they damage a wheel cover on a rock it is an inexpensive replacement. A custom aluminum rim won't allow you that luxury.

Now because this cart is going to be a multi-purpose cart we opted to change out the stock controller with an alltrax controller. This gives us more control over acceleration and braking, it also allows us to remove the top speed limiter. We kept the stock motor in this application as it will be more then adequate for the job.

Here it is after we took it out for a test drive while we programmed the controller. This cart can now spin the tires on takeoff and is going to be one fun electric buggy!
