We have another exciting build underway! This cart is being built to be used as an off road back country exploring cart.
This cool electric exploring buggy will have some great features to ensure that it is a great back country machine.
Some of the key requirements of this build are to ensure it has great ground clearance, that it has good traction, that it is maneuverable, and of course that it looks awesome!!!
Check it out as we build this bad boy each week!
The cart is in from being pressure washed. Now we start the build!
Here we are starting to disassemble the front and end do our SC Carts inspections.
We installed the 6″ drop spindle lift kit built specifically for the Club Car Precedent.
With the front end lift installed we were able to install the 14″ off road wheel and tire package.
Time to get the rear end serviced. We will do our standard SC Carts brake and differential service.
Now it’s starting to look like an off road machine. What a great stance on this electric buggy.
Here we trim down the under body on the Precedent to allow for good clearance when the suspension compresses in the back country.
Because some of the back road adventures end at night we installed the light package.
For the style end of things we have installed a polished stainless steering column cover and steering wheel adapter.
We then installed the front underbody, it is coming together nicely!
Here is a picture with the carbon fiber dash installed, just another touch to make this cart look good, but also to add to it’s useability.
Here we added the rear bumper protector, this will help when the machine gets bumped up against trees and rocks out in the back country.
To control the beast we fitted it with a nice carbon fiber steering wheel.
With the basics of the cart complete, it was time to lay down some paint. We started by spraying some white base coat on the tail end of the cart.
With the tail end of the cart masked off we laid down this awesome electric green paint.
We unmasked it and it is ready for clear coat.
Here is the front cowling clear coated! What a cool color.
Out of the paint booth and onto the cart, what a sharp looking machine.
Here is a side shot, the polished column looks awesome with the paint.
The white really adds a cool contrast to the cart. Something you don’t see everyday.
We will stop here for now and get back to building the cart! Check it out next week you won’t want to miss this cool buggy coming together!!!
