We are back with part 2 of this great build! In this post we will be getting close to completing the cart, and of course the most exciting part, the color!
Time to get the front end off the ground and give it a good inspection!
Here it is stripped down and cleaned up.
Another angle of the inspected front end. Everything is tight and ready to go.
Time to class this custom buggy up with a nice 12″ wheel and tire package.
What a difference a wheel and tire package makes.
With the front end looking awesome on this cool cart. It was time for us to focus on the rear of the cart.
Just like the previous picture you can see how great the brake and hub look after our maintenance and inspection.
One drum cleaned up and ready to go.
The second drum is looking good and this cart is ready for the rear wheel and tire package.
What a great stance this cart has.
Here is our SC Carts soft ride setup. Ok it’s nothing fancy, but we have found that two stock springs provide an excellent ride while still giving additional support for the added weight of extra passengers.
A headlight and taillight package is pretty much a must in any resort environment!
With the front light package installed and the wiring all routed nicely, it was time to install the front and rear underbodies.
With the cart chassis looking good it was time to get on with the body!
The front cowl and main body are all sanded and ready for some color.
Here it is!!! This is a Porsche 911 color, it was unveiled at the Geneva motor show by a specialized car tuning company.
What a fantastic statement for this wicked custom buggy.
Now that is a sharping looking electric cart. As a matter of fact it looks like it’s plugged in right now.
A double pinstripe is like a finely tailored suit, it always adds class! This is no exception it really finishes this Precedent off nicely.
Alright enough excitement over the color, it is time to make this cart more useable.
Again, another must have resort feature, the folding rear seat.
With the nice high side rails it keeps everyone safe, even with the speed this little gremlin will have.
The seat back support is in place and the roof struts are mounted.
This is where we leave this exciting build for now! Be sure to come back next week when we finish it up and the new owners pick up their new machine!!!
Be sure to check out part one of this cool build to see how they all begin!
