Prince George BC off the grid cabin Cruiser *Part 1*

Not to long ago we were contacted by a very nice gentleman from Prince George BC, he was looking for a cart that would suit a specific need. That need was to provide him and his family a mode of transportation around their off the grid cabin vacation spot!

After discussing some needs and details, we came to the conclusion that building a custom cart to suit their exact needs would be the best choice. The cart was going to be charged by solar panels during the week and provide transportation on the weekends. So the cart needed to have minimal electronics, just lights to get around the property. The cart needed to have a lift to get over the rough terrain, and needed a good all-purpose tire. Of course it also needed to look cool!

This is the start of that project, follow along and enjoy as we build a cart that we feel exemplifies exactly why we started SC Carts. To take previously used carts, refurbish them, giving them a new purpose that they were not originally designed for, yet which they are perfectly suited for!

Here we are bringing the cart in while we move the Albertan resort cart to our storage shop. One out the next in!

With the cart cleaned, we re installed the front and rear roof braces, this will allow us to test fit the extended roof.

Another shot of the longer roof, we added an 1.5" spacer in the rear to get the roof on an angle, this gives the big roof a sportier look. This will also tie in very nicely with the overall look of the completed cart. With the height determined we will be able to now fabricate mounting brackets for the roof.

Follow along next week when we will have some more progress to show you!
